Workshop on mm-VLBI with ALMA 22nd January 2015 - Istituto di Radioastronomia Bologna, Italy

The Italian node of the European ALMA Regional Centre organizes a meeting on the subject of mm-VLBI with ALMA, to be held at the INAF-Istituto di Radioastronomia (Bologna, Italy) on 22nd January 2015.

The idea of the workshop is to discuss the status of the mm-VLBI networks, the inclusion of ALMA therein and the role of the European ARC in this process. The meeting will be an open session on 22nd January (all day) including science cases and presentations of the network status to a general public (on the days before we'll be hosting an Italian community workshop on mm astronomy and people might attend both events)

At the workshop there is room for ~ 10 contributing talks (ca. 20 min), either on......

on behalf of the SOC(*) Elisabetta Liuzzo Italian ALMA Regional Centre INAF-IRA, Bologna, Italy

(*) The SOC consists of: Jan Brand (INAF-IRA, Bologna, Italy; Italian ARC) Gabriele Giovannini (INAF-IRA, Bologna, Italy; Università di Bologna) Robert Laing (European Southern Observatory) Elisabetta Liuzzo (INAF-IRA, Bologna, Italy; Italian ARC) Marcella Massardi (INAF-IRA, Bologna, Italy; Italian ARC) Leonardo Testi (European Southern Observatory)
