ALMA proposal preparation days
25-27 February 2019 - Istituto di Radioastronomia Bologna, Italy
The Italian node of the European ALMA Regional Centre organizes a 2-days meeting to gather actual and potential ALMA users. It will be an opportunity for them to start thinking about possible proposals and share ideas.
We will have a two-days meeting, with presentations by astronomers from the Italian community, reviewing ALMA contribution to different scientific areas: - Interstellar medium - Star formation - Evolved stars - AGN and Local Universe - High-z - Clusters of galaxies - Transients
A brief overview of ALMA technical details and of the proposal preparation tools will be also given. Short contributed talks will be also very welcome, to express interest in a particular topic and start discussing about it. There will be plenty of time for discussions, to favour possible new collaborations.
We would like this meeting to be addressed in particular to PhD students and young researchers.
