Each node contributes its own specific expertise, in order to ensure that maximum advantage is taken of the European competences in the field of mm-astronomy and interferometry.&lt;br /&gt;

Our ARC node staff support the ALMA users in all the steps of their projects, by helping in&lt;br /&gt;

In preparation for the ALMA &amp;quot;Cycle8 2021&amp;quot; proposal deadline on 21 April 2021,&lt;br /&gt;
the Italian node of the European ALMA Regional Centre organizes an online&lt;br /&gt;
community meeting to inform all potential users of the new capabilities and&lt;br /&gt;
the most important changes concerning the proposal preparation and the&lt;br /&gt;
reviewing processes on Monday 22 March 2021; 11 - 12 CET.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

In preparation for the ALMA &amp;quot;Cycle8 2021&amp;quot; proposal deadline on 21 April 2021,&lt;br /&gt;
the Italian node of the European ALMA Regional Centre organizes an online&lt;br /&gt;
community meeting to inform all potential users of the new capabilities and&lt;br /&gt;
the most important changes concerning the proposal preparation and the&lt;br /&gt;
reviewing processes on Monday 22 March 2021; 11 - 12 CET.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Programme:&lt;br /&gt;
- Status of the array&lt;br /&gt;
- New capabilities and observing modes&lt;br /&gt;
- Proposal preparation and review: important changes&lt;br /&gt;
- The ALMA Science Archive: its status and how to use it&lt;br /&gt;
- Q &amp;amp; A&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&#039;&#039;&#039;In addition, we invite new or non-expert users, who would like to have more substantial support with the proposal preparation, to contact us.&#039;&#039;&#039; &lt;br /&gt;

The Italian node of the European ALMA Regional Centre is hosted by the [http://www.ira.inaf.it/ Istituto di Radioastronomia] in Bologna and is one of the seven nodes that constitute the European network that provides technical and scientific support to ALMA users. The nodes operate in close collaboration with each other and with the [http://www.eso.org/sci/facilities/alma/arc.html ALMA Regional Centre at ESO], Garching. Each node contributes its own specific expertise, in order to ensure that maximum advantage is taken of the European competences in the field of mm-astronomy and interferometry.&lt;br /&gt;
